Chief Leo Stan Ekeh was born on February 22, 1956. He hails from Ubomiri Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State. He was born into an average home, or what we call middle-class home to high-class civil servants parents.

He lived his young or childhood life in the old Imo State. After his primary education, he proceeded to the pretigious Holy Ghost College, Owerri, for his secondary school education. When he gained his SSCE certificate, he traveled to India, Punjab University, to study Economics.

He bagged his bachelor’s degree in Economics from Punjab University before proceeding to the UK. In the UK, he bagged his master’s degree certificate in Risk Management at Nottingham University. He worked for several companies and ran deals after graduation from Nottingham University.

Seeing the gap in Nigeria’s technology business environment, Chief Leo Stan Ekeh thought about the idea of establishing Zinox Technologies Limited. He went on to establish Zinox Technologies Limited in 2001. This company is into hardware production and sales, software installation, importation, IT services, and so on. The company is reputed to be one of the first to produce Nigeria’s indigenous computer and smartphones.

As far back as Obasanjo’s era as president, Chief Ekeh’s business got the attention of Nigeria’s Federal Government. The Government went on to strike deals with the company. This has helped Chief Ekeh expand his business over the years. He has also been given national awards severally by the Nigerian Government.

Presently, Zinox Technologies is one of Nigeria’s most valuable companies, which has stood the test of time. Chief Ekeh has also acquired some other technology companies, the prominent one being Konga. He acquired Konga e-commerce platform alongside it’s payment gateway, Konga Pay, and the logistics arm, Konga Express.

He spends most of his time in Lagos where most of his business interests are. He is happily married with children.
