“As lawmakers, it is our duty to respond to the yearnings and aspirations of Deltans through bills that drive growth, create jobs and improve livelihood.
The Nine Bills are:
1. The Delta State Development and Property Authority Bill, 2022.
2. Delta State Good Government and Accountability Bill, 2022
3. Delta State Sickle Cell Disorder Control Bill, 2023
4. High court (Amendment) Bill, 2023
5. Delta State Thanksgiving Day Bill, 2023
6. Delta State Creative Industry Development Bill, 2023
7. Delta State Polytechnic Burutu Bill, 2023
8. College of Health Sciences and Technology Bill, 2023
9. Delta State Supplementary Appropriation Bill, 2023
The importance of these Bills to the State therefore cannot be over emphasized. This informed the urgency with which the House considered the passage of the Bills with all the attention they deserved.”
