1. Abia State
The NNPC Limited puts their own price in this state to be 520 naira, but we’re sure other filling stations will sell higher. Residents of this state should prepare to buy fuel for an average of 550 naira, and as high as 600 naira.
2. Akwa Ibom State
NNPC Price here is 515 naira. The price of other filling stations will be between 520 naira to 600 naira.
3. Anambra State
NNPC price of a liter of fuel here is 520 naira. The price of other filling stations will be between 530 to 600 naira.
4. Bayelsa State
The price here is a bit higher than other oil producing state even though it’s closer to the ocean. NNPC sells for around 520 naira, and other filling stations will sell between 540 naira to over 600 naira.
5. Cross River State
NNPC price is above 520 naira, and other filling stations will sell from 550 naira to over 600 naira.
7. Delta State
Here, fuel will be somewhat cheaper because it is close to Lagos and to Warri Seaport. NNPC will sell for 511 naira, and other filling stations will sell between 520 naira to 600 naira.
8. Ebonyi State
Just like other northern southeastern states, fuel will be more costly here than the other states mentioned. NNPC will sell at the fixed price of 520 naira while other filling stations will sell between 550 naira to above 600 naira.
9. Enugu State
NNPC price is 520 naira. The price of other filling stations will be between 540 naira to over 600 naira.
10. Rivers State
Fuel will be cheaper here because of its closeness to Onne Port and it is a large oil producing state. NNPC price is 511 naira while other filling stations will sell between 520 naira and 600 naira.
Conclusion
This is how much a liter of fuel will be sold in southeastern states of Nigeria effective from June, 2023. The most deciding factor for this price is logistics and distance from the ports than any other reason. The state being an oil producing state plays little or no factor to the cost of pump price.
