This is coming on the heels or backdrop of widespread suffering and economic disadvantaged caused by her husband’s economic policies. Since President Tinubu’s swearing-in in 2024, there has been increase in inflation, hardship, and increase level of poverty in Nigeria.
Like as often stated by her husband and the politicians around him about the temporary pain and long-term enjoyment of his economic policies, Oluremi Tinubu is following in the same direction. The First Lady said what she said in her Christmas message in the State House after she held a Christmas party for the children of Nana Berry Orphanage in Abuja. She assured Nigerians through her message that 2024 will indeed be a good and glorious year for Nigerians.
